In Memoriam: Harihar Rajaram (July 11, 2024)

It is with deep sadness that we share news of the loss of our esteemed Editor-in-Chief, Harihar Rajaram, Professor in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University.

An AGU Fellow and longtime affiliate of the Hydrology Section, Dr. Rajaram was the Editor-in-Chief of Geophysical Research Letters since 2019, a former editor on Water Resources Research, and served on the AGU Publications Committee.

Dr. Rajaram’s steadfast leadership of GRL, exemplary scholarship, and incredible kindness made a meaningful impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Welcome to GEMS: AGU's submission system

Geophysical Research Letters publishes high-impact, innovative, and timely research on major scientific advances in all the major geoscience disciplines. Papers are communications-length articles and should have broad and immediate implications in their discipline or across the geosciences. GRL maintains the fastest turn-around of all high-impact publications in the geosciences and works closely with authors to ensure broad visibility of top papers.

Editor in Chief: Harihar Rajaram
